Wallan Secondary College opened its doors for the first time in 2006 after a great deal of community support and involvement in the vision for a Year 7 to 12 coeducational government secondary school in Wallan.
The community sense of ownership of our College is highly visible and has shaped our school’s culture, including our set of expectations and high standards for all.
Since opening in 2006 with 120 Year 7 students we have added a Year level each year until reaching the milestone of a full Year 7 to 12 enrolment in 2011.
Now in 2013 we have fully developed VCE, VET and VCAL programs to offer all students. Our building program has provided us with award winning facilities, our pastoral care programs are well established and we are developing a track record of first round University and TAFE offers, apprenticeship and work placements for our graduates.
